About this service

Roofing materials and tools laid out on a pickup truck bed

Search for a roofer anywhere in this county and the results are a mess: paid ads first, national quote brokers, directories recycling the same forty names, and storm-chasing outfits with a mailbox and a toll-free number. Finding a contractor with an actual crew that actually works your town takes real digging. King County Roofer does the digging once and keeps the short list.

How a request works

You fill in the form. It lands with one independent roofing company that takes jobs in your town. They call or text you, look at the roof or talk through it, and quote their own work on their own terms. If you hire them, that's a deal between you and them; we don't see a cut of your invoice and we don't get involved in the schedule.

Who's on the other end

The contractors we route to hold current Washington registration, carry bond and insurance, work the towns they claim, and return calls. Any company that stops picking up or starts collecting complaints stops getting requests. Coverage gaps get acknowledged rather than papered over.

Why not a directory

A directory hands you a list and lets you do the vetting. This site is the vetting. One verified local option per request beats forty unverified ones, and your details never get sprayed across a broker's contractor list.

What makes a good request

Describe what the roof is doing, not what you think the fix is. A drip location, a slope you can see damage on, a season it started. Photos help a callback but can't attach here, so words do the work. Urgent means water moving or structure open; mark it that way and it gets handled that way.

Coverage

The service area is the whole county: Seattle proper, the Eastside, the Green River valley floor, north county, south county, and the foothill towns toward the pass. The form's town list is the map.
